JACINTA WALSH M.A.
Jacinta Walsh’s expertise to lead a world class dance specialist programme has been developed over many years of international experience and knowledge. Originally, Jacinta studied with the great master ballet teacher Anne Woolliams in Melbourne, during which she was awarded the Anthony Joseph Pratt Scholarship, the Big Brother Scholarship, graduated with a Diploma of Dance and reached grade 6 piano AMEB, before embarking on a professional ballet career in Europe.
In Europe, Jacinta worked with prominent artistic directors and choreographers, notably John Neumeier, Glen Tetley, Maurice Béjart, Judith Jamison, Mats Ek, Nacho Duato, Peter Schaufuss, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Youri Vámos, Heinz Spoerli, Ray Barra, Jochen Ulrich, Richard Wherlock among others. The performance repertoire included most genres of dance by choreographers like George Balanchine, John Cranko, Roland Petit, Kenneth MacMillan, William Forsythe and more.
Subsequently, Jacinta assisted and personally represented internationally acclaimed artistic directors in dance, opera, film and theatre like Jochen Ulrich, Professor Götz Friedrich, Katharina Thalbach and Dr. Dieter Wedel. Concurrently, she accomplished a postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, Arts and Cultural Management (UniSA), receiving distinction for her field project with the Australian Ballet Company.
