junior ballet PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Professional Ballet Training & Dance Education.
Three levels for ages 5, 6, 7, 8 years
The Wonder of Ballet begins with Junior Ballet at the Jacinta Walsh Ballet Arts Academy.
These classes introduce the world of ballet to young dancers, where they experience the joy of movement, music and storytelling in a safe and nurturing environment.
All three levels build the fundamentals of classical ballet. The young dancers primarily focus on correct posture and body alignment, flawless technique and the development of coordination, balance and strength. The awareness of music with movement grows alongside storytelling and terminology.
Being part of the Jacinta Walsh Ballet Arts Academy will teach your child more than ballet. Essential life skills including social, emotional and cultural awareness, self-discipline, ability to collaborate, cooperate and more are a natural result of such specialised training.
REGISTRATION
For the School Year programme, students are required to register for the class based on on their age as of February 1:
Junior Ballet 1: Age 5/6
Junior Ballet 2: Age 6/7
Junior Ballet 3: Age 7/8
