PITTSBURGH BALLET THEATRE (Pennsylvania, USA)
Canadian born - Ellie Pentin begins her exciting new career chapter with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in Pennsylvania, USA. Ellie first met Jacinta Walsh in London when she participated in her Ballet Masterclasses. Soon after her enriching experience, Ellie relocated to Melbourne and enrolled in Jacinta Walsh’s Ballet Arts Academy for one-to-one professional ballet training and mentoring. For the past two years, Ellie’s personalised intensive ballet programme provided her with world-class teachings to receive offers from three international ballet companies. Deciding to join the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is a wonderful career opportunity for Ellie. We wish Ellie lots of success and happiness for the beginnings of her international dance career! “Jacinta, thank you for treating your students with respect. Without your support and willingness to understand myself as a human being first and an artist second, I would not have the tools to thrive in the professional world. Being seen and heard, no matter my age, made working with you so enjoyable.” – Ellie Pentin |
ROYAL DANISH BALLET (Copenhagen, Denmark)
Oscar Ainscough joins the world renowned Royal Danish Ballet. Jacinta Walsh trained Oscar in the UK after which he embarked on a successful professional dance career in Europe with Béjart Ballet in Lausanne, Switzerland and now the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the words of Oscar Ainscough ... "Through your teaching and what we worked on I began to learn and understand correct alignment. You managed to help me implement things that have sent me on the path I am currently on and made me attractive to the European market. Without you I would have never known I had a physique, I would have never known I had the body or the ability, and I would have never gone to Europe to continue my studies... Jacinta your teaching methods are just what the ballet world is lacking and in need of. Your teachings allow dancers to have a career like I am having. I am eternally grateful for what you did for me." |
