Dance journalist, Leila Lois, interviews Jacinta about her professional dance career in Europe, her vision for her academy and dance in Australia.
Jacinta Walsh has developed her vocational dance program through training with some of the great ballet masters including Anne Woolliams, Peter Appel, Truman Finney, David Nixon CBE and others.
Jacinta has travelled the world to meet the people of leading vocational ballet schools, universities and ballet/dance companies. She has also observed trainings at the Paris Opera Ballet, The Royal Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet, The Juilliard School and more. From her experience and observations, Jacinta realised the great need to prioritize and facilitate the dancers’ health and wellbeing to achieve excellence.
